There are many WoW Gold Making Guides which have been obsolete since the release of The Burning Crusade. There are so many alternative ways to make gold, but there I have found the most profitable ways to make gold. Each gold farming method seems to result in these categories:
- grinding
- Auction house
- activities
- Interrogation
It was impossible to search for gold before TBC. Quests are actually a big part of gold income at any time at level 70. Quests can bring you mountains of gold because most quests include the rewards from grinding for gold and then the quest rewards you get when You deliver the mission. The best thing about missions is that they don’t end! TBC made quests a viable option for gold farming because there is an endless list of quests.
Many people on all servers are still trying to complete all of their quests. As of this writing, we are still 5 months away from the launch of TBC. You can see how many quests there really are and how long it will take to clear your quest log. When you reach level 70, all quests stop giving you experience (simply because you don’t need to gain experience), but instead of experience rewards, you get more gold! This gives each player a huge incentive to continue quests beyond level 70.
Professions have been a core part of gold collecting since the game began. But TBC has blown up a profession. Jewelry, Mining, Herbalism, Skinning are just 4 professions that made it huge. These are the 4 professions with which you can earn the most money, however, each profession is profitable once you reach a certain level.
Playing in the auction house is still a great way to earn money! Fewer people make mistakes because they use Auctioneer. However, there are still things you can do within the auction house that the auctioneer will never be able to automate. Things like buying all the low-tier gear and relisting it at higher prices!
He also manually searches the auction house to find items that are very low in stock, but in high demand. This includes things like copper, tin, bronze, linen, low-tier gems, and twink items. That’s just the beginning of the list because it goes on. You just need to find what your server needs and farm it!
Milling is still one of the best ways to make gold. Finding reputation items to sell is a great way right now, while guilds are still trying to conquer new content. Everyone will want the best reputation rewards, but most players will be too lazy to farm them. Just like players farmed for Argent Dawn reputation items, you can do the same at our level 70. Finding items from Aldor or Scryer will give you great gold income as people continue to improve their reputation.
Mote’s and Primals play a huge role in the grinding game. Primals are used in all good crafting recipes at level 70, even some below! Ten Motes are required to create an Ancient One. This means that you will have to farm a large number of Motes just to create enough primals for some recipes. If you understand agriculture, that’s GREAT. This means that the hunt for motes will never end because players will always want more.
Motes can also be found in gathering professions, so it makes them one step ahead of other professions. They are random drops within herbs and minerals. You’ll still get your herbs and minerals when you loot them, but you’ll get a special gift with them!
