Two great little restaurants on the Hermosa Beach Pier

If you live in the South Bay, or are just passing through Southern California and are looking for an interesting place to stop and eat, then the Hermosa Beach Pier should be at the top of your list. Two places I found in Hermosa can set the tone for a great evening out. Even if you’re just looking for a fun night out, then the Hermosa Pier will give you all you can handle with its vibrant nightlife and handsome, full-bodied 20-somethings.

Start the night at Hennessey’s Tavern

This will be just the first stop of the night for some snacks and snacks. Maybe even a couple of cocktails before heading to the main course. Hennessy’s is located at the other end of the pier basically on the water at 8 Pier Avenue, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254. The idea is to call ahead to try and reserve space on the upper deck that overlooks the ocean and has a nearly 360 degree view. degrees. unobstructed view of the ocean. Obviously this is one of the best places to watch the sunset. So I recommend starting with your favorite cocktails and an order of Irish Nachos, which are like potato skins with cheese and bacon bits.

Move to the Mediterranean restaurant for dinner

At the other end of the pier is the Mediterranean Restaurant, which can be found at 73 Pier Avenue, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254. This is one of the best restaurants in Hermosa Beach and specializes, as the name suggests, in Mediterranean-style food. They have a fabulous Tapas menu with all the delicacies you can imagine. Relive your past Mediterranean adventures or become familiar with this delicious type of food. They have 30 different types of wine and 30 craft beers for you to choose from.

Skip dessert and head for the nightlife at Aloha Sharkeez

I suggest a substitution for dessert. Head directly across the road to 52 Pier Avenue, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254 and you’ll find Aloha Sharkeez. It was completely rebuilt in recent years due to the fire of the original building. The rebuilt version is bigger, better, and covered in wall-to-wall plasma TVs. So what to have for dessert? How about a great margarita made by a beautiful bartender? Chances are this won’t be your last stop of the night.

Hermosa Pier has so much to offer that it won’t fit all in one night. You never know who you’ll run into, as this area is a playground for AVP volleyball pros and professional surfers. Don’t be surprised to find that some rows start to form for sticks the later you do it. If you can, come back a few times to try and visit the best places the Hermosa Beach Pier has to offer.
