T Mobile G1 is supposedly the first mobile phone to use Google’s Android platform. Yes, everyone is crazy about the phone, they want to get it so bad and when they got it, some of them were quite disappointed.
Soon, however, the G1 will no longer be Google’s only Android phone from T Mobile. T Mobile has been confirmed to come with myTouch 3G. Previously, there has been speculation about the name. Some of them said that it was known as Magic, Sapphire and even G2. Now that you know, the real name is myTouch 3G. Yeah, not Magic, not Sapphire, and definitely not G2.
What’s so special about it anyway? A new 5.0MP camera will surely beat out HTC Magic’s 3.2MP camera. What other thing? As far as that goes, there aren’t many details on the phone yet, but it will be available in white, black, and a new color known as merlot, which is actually dark red. Look for the color of the joker. You will love it.
Powered by Android Cupcake, hopefully something good is about to happen with this new mobile phone. Apart from this, it is also said that there would be more RAM for myTouch 3G, up to 192 MB. So it should work faster and easier to handle.
It’s expected to release in the summer, but then again, summer could have a different meaning here. Should we be excited about this new Android phone? Well, it could be much better than the existing one. However, since we have no idea what other additional features it has, it’s really hard to predict how it would perform in the market.
