Are you struggling to get out of bed now that there is lockdown almost everywhere in the world? There is a silver lining to the current situation. Motivate yourself to push yourself throughout the day to be more active and enjoy life indoors. This article shows how.

Here is a set of tips to help you get through the day:

  1. First thing in the morning, make your bed.
  2. Then wash and meditate or pray. Pray for your family, city, country and the world.
  3. Recite holy verses from the Holy Book relevant to the current situation so that you feel peace in your heart.
  4. Then check your email box. Answer one or two or just continue. Keep an email account only for positive and upbeat self-help content.
  5. Check the content of social networks. Like any catchy post you come across and post your own ideas to get others attracted to your post.
  6. Eat breakfast. Bread and jam and a glass of orange juice are very good to have. But you can have your own preferred options.
  7. Then take some time to read. I like to read Sidney Sheldon novels and self-help e-books, which keep me busy for two hours or more.
  8. Then do some cleaning around it. Sweep floors and mop accordingly to keep your surroundings spotless.
  9. Water your plants in tubs or garden and enjoy a little sun.
  10. Do your laundry.
  11. Clean the surfaces of tables, chairs, dresser, sink, cabinets, washing machine and any surface you can find. Get rid of all germs this way.
  12. If you have children and a husband, share with them, having breakfast.
  13. Ask your husband to play with your children for a while while you start cooking for them.
  14. Share delicious home-cooked lunch with the family.
  15. Ask your husband to finish clearing the table and dishes while you put the kids down for a nap.
  16. You and your husband can watch an adult movie while your kids sleep.
  17. Start preparing afternoon snacks such as French toast, cereal, chips, etc. that your kids would like after they wake up.
  18. Read children’s stories and play crafts with paper and clay.
  19. Sit down with your school lessons and do some homeschooling.
  20. Let them draw and color on sheets of paper and keep them busy while you and your husband work from home.
  21. Prepare dinner with the help of your husband and sit together and enjoy the dishes. Wash the dishes and have her husband read bedtime stories to her children, gradually letting them sleep.
  22. So it was a productive day in your own way, staying at home. Take some time for self-care before retiring to bed.

In summary, the tips above show how you can motivate yourself to be more active and productive throughout the day, instead of lying in bed doing nothing, taking no responsibility. You must also be an example for your family, your neighborhood and the community so that together we can overcome the deadly situation of the present times.
