Massive savings on Cypriot products duty free can be made at Cypriot airports. You can even save up to 60% on some items. If you fly within the European Union, you are entitled to duty-free prices on:

There are no longer allocation restrictions on these duty-free items. And, if you’re flying outside the European Union, you’re entitled to your full allowance of goods at duty- and tax-free prices.
Tax Free Cyprus Franchises: Return Travel from Within the EU
You do not have to pay any tax or duty on the goods you have bought in Cyprus. Please note that there are conditions that apply to your assignments:
- If you are under 17, there are certain restrictions
- You are entitled to these allowances only if you travel with the goods and do not sell them.
- If you bring something that is worth more than your allowance of other property, you must pay charges for the full value, not just the value above the allowance.
- You and anyone you are traveling with may not combine your individual other asset allowances to bring an item worth more than the limit. The person bringing the item will have to pay charges for the full value of the item.
How much can you really bring from Cyprus?
If you are bringing something out of bounds, you are more likely to be questioned by a customs officer about the purposes for which you are holding the goods.
Anyone with purchases within the limits has the right to walk through the green channel at the Customs posts at the airports. However, customs officials may randomly inspect passengers’ luggage. Therefore, anyone who has purchases in excess of these limits is subject to paying taxes on the purchases.
How much can you really bring into Cyprus?
The following goods can be imported into Cyprus by visitors arriving from countries outside the EU without incurring customs duties:
- 50g of perfume and 250ml of eau de toilette
- Goods (except jewelry) up to 175 euros
If you never had the opportunity to ‘shop before you fly’, you can buy goods from the point of arrival duty free at Larnaca Airport Arrivals. This is where arriving passengers can purchase duty-free items immediately before going through customs. Therefore, tax-free Cyprus savings can be made by flying into Cyprus as well as flying out of Cyprus.
