Using the Monroe Technique – 7 Simple Steps to Astral Projection

Astral projection is not only a safe activity, but also a fun one. In addition, it can help you advance materially and spiritually. Get rid of the various unfounded fears about astral projection and learn to project. You must have heard of Monroe’s astral projection technique.

Here are 7 simple steps to help you use the Monroe technique successfully.

First step

Relax your body completely. Monroe said that relaxing the body is imperative to having an out-of-body experience (OOBE). Relaxation of the body also includes relaxation of the mind. Monroe has not suggested any relaxation techniques. But you can try deep breathing exercises in addition to progressive muscle relaxation.

Second step

Now is the time to enter the hypnogogic state. The hypnogogic state is one in which you are falling asleep, but are not yet fully asleep. Again, Monroe does not suggest any particular technique. But you can try to keep your forearm raised, while your upper arm rests better. Your arm will automatically drop to the bed when you begin to fall asleep, and this will wake you up.

The second strategy is to focus on a particular object. You enter the hynogogic state when other thoughts start to intrude and you lose focus. Look at these images passively. This quasi-dream condition is referred to by Monroe as “Condition A”.

Third step

Delve into Condition A. Clear your mind slowly and observe the state of darkness through your closed eyes. Ultimately, you may notice light patterns, which have absolutely no meaning. They are just neural discharges. You have now entered Condition B.

You must enter Condition C, a deeper state of relaxation. You know that you have entered Condition C when you lose complete awareness of your body and all sensory stimulation. Now, you exist in a void where only your thoughts can stimulate you.

To project successfully, you must enter Condition D, which is nothing more than Condition Centered on voluntarily and not as a result of exhaustion. According to Monroe, you should try to enter Condition D early in the morning.

Fourth step

Now you have to go into a vibratory mode, the most significant but darkest part of Monroe’s technique. The vibrations usually appear when you are about to project. You know you’ve reached vibratory mode when you feel a slight tingling all over your body.

Fifth step

Now you must control the vibratory state. You can do this by mentally creating waves of vibrations from head to toe.

The easiest way to create this ripple effect is to focus on the vibrations. Mentally extend a wave of vibrations from your head to the rest of your body. You can create these waves at will after practicing for some time. To project successfully, you must achieve full control of the vibrate mode.

Step six

Now you are ready for a partial separation. You must not let your thoughts drift. Set your mind on separating yourself from the body. If you lose control over your thoughts, you may lose that vibratory state that you have painstakingly achieved.

Once you have started to vibrate, begin to release a part of your astral body from your physical body. Monroe teaches you to let go of a foot or a hand and extend it until it touches the wall or some other object near your bed. Let your hand or foot pass through the object and then place it back on your physical body.

This little exercise will prepare you for a full-blown astral projection.

Seventh step

You can now separate from your physical body. Monroe recommends two ways to do this.

Method one: Imagine getting lighter and lighter. Imagine that you are floating upwards. Keep your mind focused on this and don’t let any other thoughts enter your mind. Naturally, it will have an OOBE.

Method two: In the “Roll Out” or “Rotation” technique, you simply have to roll over as you would when getting out of bed. Be careful not to move your physical body. You will soon find yourself out of your body, lying next to him. Now, all you have to do is float towards the ceiling and you will find yourself moving upwards, observing your physical body.
