Choosing a color that matches the color of your skin, hair and eyes is a bit more of an art and if you are going to go beyond basic black or white, you should pay attention.
Skin color is an obvious consideration, or at least it should be. Many women wear lingerie that is so close to the color of your own skin that you cannot tell where the lingerie ends and where you begin. Many women with the pale porcelain doll skin type tend to stick with light pastel colors, just make sure they blend in with your hair or eye color as well. If you have olive or quite tanned skin you can opt for colors that are a little darker, remembering again to choose a color that goes well with your hair or eyes. You may want to consider colors that are a bit brighter. Women who have a very dark tan or ebony skin have the most options of all. You can use pastels and powder colors that really bring out the contrast and you can also use bright colors very well. Again, always consider your hair and eye color, but deep reds and royal purples will look ravishing.
When it comes to hair color, pastel lingerie looks best between blondes and light shades of purple, blue or pink complement your hair color without taking a prominent place over your beautiful hair and are light enough not to wash your facial features. Darker hair requires darker colors and brunettes will get the best results with brighter colors and patterns, as well as earth tones. Dark blues, purples, reds, and bright hunter green lingerie will really complement your hair. If you are a fiery redhead, you can get away with some really bright and fun colors, but make sure they complement your hair because the beauty of your red hair is a huge influence on your overall sexiness.
Now we come to one of my favorites, eye color. Choosing lingerie that matches your eye color can really create a stunning look. If you have blue eyes, choosing any color of blue, from pastels to even shades of purple, can really emphasize your eye color. Women with green eyes can use any shade of green to bring out their eye color. For women with darker eyes, wearing brown colors or even mixing shades of blue and brown works great. If you are lucky enough to have hazel eyes, you can get away with just about any color and it will bring out that part of your rare eye color.
