Since learning to meet and attract women, I have generally found that Asian women ‘fresh off the ship’ (FOB for short) play by slightly different rules. So during my time “in the game,” I found out what those differences were and played them to my advantage. This guide will tell you everything you need to know about picking up FOB Asian women, but keep in mind that it is still only a guide. It doesn’t make sense if you don’t take action and try.
We will first divide Asian women into three categories: Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. From the untrained eye, all Asian women are the same and respond to the advances of a Western man in the same way. However, based on my extensive experience, I have found that there are some nuances that make a difference in your ability to know and attract her.
So let’s take a look at the different categories.
Chinese
If you meet them under “normal” circumstances, say at work, through friends or some other “normal” means of communicative exchange, getting to know and befriend them is easy.
However, if we talk about a cold approach on the street or in the club, then it is a very different story. What you need to know about Chinese is that, of all Asian countries, they are the most closed to meeting new people; especially foreigners. If you really want to meet Chinese girls in a club or the mall, you are going to play a numbers game, no matter how good you are. However, don’t let that stop you from trying.
Typical Chinese girls are very conservative, but that differs from where they originally grew up in China. Here is a list of different places in China, from the most conservative to the least:
- Mainland China in general (the further west you go, the more conservative)
- Carry off
- Hong Kong
- Macau
- Taiwan
Japanese
While many ‘outside’ Japanese seem to be very meek and shy around others, they are the country that defines Asian women’s obsession with white men, not Korea or China.
Japanese women are really fascinated with Westerners and, in my experience, they are extremely receptive to your advances. Realize that unlike Chinese or Korean women, they won’t blow your mind if they don’t like you. Sometimes it may seem like they like you, but in fact you may be wasting your time simply because they are too nice to say they are not interested.
That said, Japanese women are still very friendly and very open to meeting new people.
Korean
Korean women are very similar to Japanese women, but the biggest difference is that they are not going to go for you just because you are Western.
Notes: However, keep in mind that, just like in Western culture, every girl is different and does not fit a uniform mold.
How to collect them
If you have experience flirting with girls in general, flirting with Asian women is the same concept, but you do take into account some differences.
A lesson in sincerity
A great foundation that you must apply to flirt Asian women is to be sincere.
Sincerity is debatable, the most important concept when it comes to successfully flirting with girls, but it applies 100 times to Asian women. Honesty is basically being 100% congruent with how you feel at any given moment. Don’t try to act calm, exaggerated, or even confident, especially if you don’t feel it.
Actually, this is just a repeat of the “be yourself” cliché.
Something you can do is this; When you’re trying to pick up an Asian girl and you’re feeling a little nervous, say “sorry I’m a little nervous, I’m not good at this” or “I know I’m a little shy, but I think so.” I would like to get to know you better. We should have coffee sometime. “
You may be worried that an Asian girl won’t like a suspicious jerk, but a suspicious jerk who acts 100% is more likely to get the girl than braggarts who are overly macho and arrogant. As long as your friends, mom or sister reward you, “be yourself,” whenever you tell them about your girl problems, they weren’t trying to mislead you, it’s actually solid advice.
Level with your shyness
Another thing to keep in mind is that Asian women are naturally more shy and introverted than Western women.
When we Westerners join a club full of other Westerners, it’s natural to act more alpha, more dominant, and more confident because that’s what Western women respond to.
However, doing this with Asian women is going too far. Talk to her like you would a 4-year-old girl. In general, you are very gentle and do everything you can to make her feel comfortable with you.
Be the ‘BFG’ (aka the Great Friendly Giant)
I’m not just referring to your physical size, but also your beauty, your general level of coolness, and even your level of English.
I never see cool, handsome Western guys holding hands with shy and nerdy Chinese girls, however I do see slim, nerdy Western guys with them.
What does this tell you?
Do you have to be shy, insecure, and nerdy to get these girls? No, just try to tone down your natural confidence and realize that these girls respond differently to the western girls you are used to dating. Be tame, pretend to be a bit shy and even a bit cheesy at times. Don’t be condescending though, otherwise you will look creepy.
Just try to level her shyness as much as possible.
