Ellen DeGeneres and the Law of Attraction

Ellen’s life is surely looking up these days. Her talk show is popular. She landed a highly sought after job as a judge on American Idol. She even got Oprah to put her on the cover of O magazine. Could things be any better? Okay, yes. She is in a loving relationship and seems to exude joy and fun. What a difference from the time when she “came out” and everything seemed to fall apart for her. What’s up with that? How did things change so much for her?

In a 2009 commencement speech at Tulane University, he talks about where he was when everything fell apart in his life. How, even though she had a successful sitcom, she felt like she wasn’t being authentic because no one knew she was gay. Ellen had a lot of fear energy at the time: if people knew she was gay, they wouldn’t like her, they wouldn’t laugh anymore, and they wouldn’t watch her sitcom. “She was living with so much shame and so much fear, that she couldn’t live that way anymore, and I decided to go out and ‘free myself’ from this burden that she was carrying.” Her worst fears came true. She lost her sitcom and, according to her, her phone didn’t ring for three years.

Are all Gay Bashers dead?

Ellen’s situation is one of the most succinct examples of how the Law of Attraction works. How could her reality change so much in three years? Who is responsible for this reality changing? Did all the anti-gay people die and leave? Hardly. They recently repealed the gay marriage law in California. Gay haters are alive and well, and many apparently live in California. So if no outside forces changed, then the only thing that changed was Ellen.

The Universe, which does not listen to words, but rather reacts to the energy of our thoughts and emotions, did what it always does. He brought Ellen manifestations that matched her energy. When he was afraid of the judgment of others, the universe found that coincidence in the others who were judging. same frequency. She couldn’t measure up to the millions who couldn’t give a damn about sexual orientation, because she was no match for them. She was the one who focused her thoughts away from what she wanted to what she didn’t want. The Law of Attraction works with the energy that we are emitting. When your focus is on what you don’t want, you will get what you don’t want. The gay bashers are still out there. Ellen is no longer compatible with them, so she doesn’t attract those people.

I would not change anything

Ellen says she wouldn’t change a thing about her past, and who could blame her? She has come out thriving and living the life she always wanted to live. When we are in the midst of circumstances that we vehemently do not want, there is an equal energy of what we want emanating from us. We have gathered so much energy, and if we can stop focusing on what is and instead stubbornly focus on where we want to be, things will turn out just as great for us as they have for Ellen.
